In addition to the wooden rims, we are producing wooden push rings for wheelchairs, too. To the wheelchair driver, they feel more comfortable than those made of metal. Especially during cold seasons, touching of metal parts and the resulting cooling of the hands can be very unpleasant. Furthermore, the wooden surface guarantees better grip as compared to conventional metal push rings. The same holds true when coming in contact with water: due to the fine structure of the wood, it is hardly possible to slip. The wooden push rings may as well be fitted subsequently to already existing wheelchair rims.

Due to the usage of ash wood, there are no splinters and thus no threatening danger of being injured by the push rings. Momentarily, they are tested and certified by TÜV AUSTRIA/GERMANY.

Wood, although having a very high strength, has very little weight. Thus, the wooden push rings are immensely light, too. Anybody willing to protect his or her car´s paintwork will be better off by using wooden pushing rings. The same holds true for all other possible damages caused through the push rings, especially in the living area.
