Even though the tyre pressure might be high, due to the material´s extraordinary damping characteristics, impacts caused by irregularities on the road´s surface are lessened. In addition to the increased riding comfort, aerodynamics have been considered, which resulted in the usage of various types of wood in specific areas of the rim´s profile. Furthermore, carbon fibres are included into the wooden rim, thus reinforcing the lateral stiffness. Currently, we are offering the wooden rims for the tubular system only, being the one which is dominantly used in bicycle racings. However, the clincher system is going to be included in our product line in the near future.
