Through steps and irregularities, the human apparatus is permanently exposed to physical shocks. For this, wooden rims bring relief. Even with high tyre pressure and the lessened rolling friction which goes along with it, the wooden rims offer extraordinary damping characteristics. Furthermore, the material wood is low in weight but high in strength. Compared to chill metal, wood conveys a sense of warmth. Besides the wooden rims, we produce wooden push rings, too, which can be fitted subsequently onto existing wheelchairs. We even equip sport wheelchairs and handbikes. Currently, we are offering the wooden rims for the tubular system only, being the one which is dominantly used in bicycle racings. However, the clincher system is going to be included in our product line in the near future.
